Making it to Week 10, and defenses are beginning to dominate the NFL. The IDP Chef brings you Week 10 dishes to keep your IDP line up healthy and stretched out for the crucial Thanksgiving week match-ups. Let’s get into the main course.
IDP Plays
Week 10 has 3 games with QBs with questionable play, a key statistic for IDPs. I like New York Jets LB Demario Davis and Tampa Bay Bucs LB L. David in a match up featuring QBs J. McCown and R. Fitzpatrick. I also like New England DB Devin McCourty, Chicago Bears DB Adrian Amos, and Cleveland Browns LB Jamie Collins as they are both coming off of a bye. If you need a DL and like at least one player in Monday Night Football look for Carolina Panther Kawann Short against a hurting Jay Cutler.
IDP Pines
Bye Weeks: Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, and Philadelphia Eagles
There are several great IDPs on bye with only four teams. The IDP with the most points, Baltimore Raven LB CJ Mosley has 110.90, Kansas City Chief LB Justin Houston is 7th with 93.80. Both of those guys deserve to stay on your roster. Oakland Raider DL Khalil Mack has been on a slump of late but he is capable of having a huge week and is still the 8th best DL in the league. I am also nervous about New Orleans DL Cameron Jordan against a mobile Tyrod Taylor.
IDP Waiver Pick Ups
Pittsburgh Steelers DL Cameron Heyward, New England LB Kyle Van Hoy, Cleveland Browns LB Joe Schobert, Detroit Lions DB Glover Quin.
Streaming DST
There are a few good options. I like the New York Jets against the Bucs with Fitzpatrick under center. Also, I have a good feeling about Los Angeles Chargers against a weak Jags offense.
