Week 16 IDP Play & Pine, Waiver Pick Ups, + Streaming DST
If you are reading this, hopefully you are in the championship… or at least playing for 3rd place… or some kind of pride/money. I was defeated by a guy who has beat me 3 times now this year… New Rival to say the least. Enough with the negativity though, let’s get to eatin’!!!
IDP Plays
My goodness LA Rams DL A. Donald (I played against him and T. Gurley last week… and Ravnes DST… geez) dominated the Seahawks and reminded everyone why he is yearly in consideration for Defensive player of the year. He led all IDPs with 21.50 points last week. If he’s on your roster… he’s a safe play this week against a struggling Titans offense… they just lost to the 49ers. Tampa Bay LB Kwon Alexander registered 13 solo tackles… He’s a freaking human wrecking ball back there! He pretty much stopped the Falcons last drive by himself, and gave his offense a chance to win the game. With fellow stud LB L. David likely out the rest of the year, Kwon is a lock to be a stud for week 16. Baltimore Raven LB CJ Mosley leads all IDPs with 164.70 points and you obviously play him if you have him, but let us not forget about the man doing the deal for over a decade in Baltimore. LB Terrell Suggs has had limited snap counts and only registered 1.5 points last week. With their playoff hopes on the brink look for them to dominate the lousy Colts at home.
IDP Pines
I do not like #6 overall IDP, Green Bay Packers LB B. Martinez due to the fact they are out of playoffs and likely will be deflated. Even though he picked Tom Brady and had 7.5 points last week, I do not like Pittsburgh Steelers LB V. Williams on the road against the Texans. I also think Denver Broncos LB V. Miller is ready to go play with his chickens in DeSoto, Texas and not be focued on the Redskins, both of whom are out of the playoffs. Even though the Jacksonville Jags are the best defense in the league, I do not like LB Myles Jack going all the way across the country playing the 49ers.
IDP Waiver pick ups
Kansas City Chiefs DB M. Peters had 2 picks and a forced fumble in his return last week, and the Chiefs need him again. I think he will easily get a pick against smoking Jay Cuddie and the Miami Dolphins. Washington Redskin LB A. Lanier has 5 sacks in past 4 games and is playing agaisnt… who knows who will be the QB for the Broncos, but they will be sackable. Lastly, in deeper leagues perhaps New Orleans Saints rookie DB M. Lattimore is up for defensive rookie of the year, they are playing at home against their rival the Falcons, with division title hopes on the line. It might be a gamble but sometimes gambles must be taken to bring home the ‘Ship!!!
Streaming DST
Call me crazy, but I think the Washington Redskins DST has a chance to go off at home agaisnt the, we got our bags packed and ready for the off-season, Denver Broncos. Washington won last week and several players on that team are playing for contracts either in Washington or on someone else radar. It’s a meaningless game but if you have a shaky DST or bad match up look for the ‘Skins to bring you what you want!
